Eastern Samar Rice Farm

New Rice Cropping Season


It's the start of another new rice cropping season in Eastern Samar, and Dr Cabalonga of Eastern Samar State College and his staff are applying Nutriplant SL to newly germinating variety NSIC 150 palay seed.

Nutriplant SL give seeds and seedlings a strong healthy head start building their immune system to fight off sickness and disease for the best chance at creating above average harvest yields and quality with lower input costs.

The following Nutriplant Protocol will be used on this Eastern Samar rice crop.

The following mix rates are based on backpack sprayer tankload of 16 liters of water.

1) Seed Sowing
Nutriplant SL Seed Nutrient - 32 ML Per Tankload
APSA80 - 5 ML Per Tankload

2) 2 Weeks after transplant.
Nutriplant AG - 80 ML Per Tankload
APSA80 - 5 ML Per Tankload

3) 6 Weeks after transplant.
Nutriplant AG - 80 ML Per Tankload
APSA80 - 5 ML Per Tankload

3) Panicle Initiation.
Nutriplant AG - 80 ML Per Tankload
APSA80 - 5 ML Per Tankload
